Very good quality of the food. Big portion. Particularly worth mentioning: great service! Very friendly, knowledgeable and really quick. The nice waiter treated my mother in a wheelchair very warmly. We will be back!

This place is just wonderful and there is nothing to add to the 5 stars.

They refused to seat us for a dessert, even though other guests were still ordering desserts at the exact same time.

We ate the 3-course menu and it was very, very tasty. From the kitchen to the Service was everything and we were treated very friendly and courteous. Thank you for the nice evening and we'd love to come back.

Very good cuisine: scallops, pikeperch fillet and beef steak excellently prepared. The wine was superb. The waitresses were constantly on the move like busy bees. Nice ambience both outside and inside. Always my pleasure!

It should be a special evening for me and my husband with good food in a pleasant atmosphere. Big compliments and thanks to the whole team! The evening was more than successful. We'd love to come back to you next time we visit Freiburg.

The service is always extremely diligent and always courteous! The chairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables extremely adequate. There you don't get the feeling of having dinner like sardines in a can - we were completely blown away. Great value for money. We are completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back.

Terrace on pedestrian street full of charm, little rose on the table! The staff is very attentive (the waiters took the trouble to translate the menu into French), smiling and responsive. Homemade cuisine with simple and authentic flavors, very good!

Never been disappointed at this restaurant. Very accommodating, good food and located in maybe the prettiest cobblestone streets in Freiburg. Lovely place to sit outside and have a meal or quick espresso.

We had a very nice evening in the bright spot. The very friendly waiter recommended the menu to us and it was delicious. The prawns in the starter were cooked perfectly and the main courses (swordfish and veal) were both really well prepared. For dessert we could only eat one thing together, but that too was delicious. The wine list offers a large selection and the espresso is also highly recommended. If we are in Freiburg again, we would like to come again and ray of hope.

Were looking for a good restaurant with friendly service and were not disappointed. A visit to Freiburg is accompanied by a detour to this restaurant. Rarely eaten so well and received so kindly. Each course was excellently prepared and delicious. PS: Would we still be happy about the recipe of the coconut-lime soup 😉

Excellent dishes and wine. A little gem tucked away off the beaten track but still close to the center. Full glas wall-window towards the street. Book in advance, the place is small!

Very solid restaurant for a nice evening with a little more sophisticated cuisine. There is still some room for improvement in terms of ambience, but that is a question of personal taste. Service is casual but friendly. The quality of the food was good and the price / performance ratio was okay.

The best restaurant by far during our stay in Freiburg. Price-performance ratio is 100%. I can only recommend it!

Great little place and I had a great meal. I got the chefs menu with three courses and I can’t recommend it enough. In order. Duck liver with black lentils. Lamb with potatoes and cabbage with pancetta. Orange slices with orange whip cream. Walking distance to the cathedral

One of the best meals I've had in Germany. Everything we had was very well balanced, light but naturally flavourful, and delicious. Lovely, comfy environment too. Would come here again if I'm ever back in Freiburg.

We went there and had a salad and a risotto which was featured prominently on the menu. The risotto was really overcooked with tasteless mushrooms. Wouldn't recommend it.
